Today I woke up another year older… yep 43 years old today. My inbox is full of wonderful birthday wishes from family, and friends from all over the world. I cannot thank you enough. My Maya Road family certainly surprised me. I was not expecting this wonderful surprise at all. Andrea, Jessica, Sandy, Wendy, Katie and Caroline you truly made me feel so special and I thank you.

Today is also a very big Maya Road sneak peek day. Here is their WINTER CATALOG. Oh my are you going to love all the new products. Some just make me jump for joy!!! Tomorrow is finally the day to start the project sneak peeks. I cannot WAIT. You are going to love all the eye candy.

when I’m waiting for a call back from a really important person…. CREATE. Today has been the longest day EVER. Hopefully, I will be very happy in the end. But the waiting is KILLING ME. So here is what I created today. I made all the ribbon flowers last night using some Maya Road ribbon. Their ribbon is perfect for making flowers. The weight and width are really easy to work with and the color choices are great. FYI… make sure you have good thread. If you don’t it will break when you tie the double knot… trust me when I say this…

I’m not sure what I’m going to do with the other four flowers but I do know they will make it on some project for sure. I just love them.

Here are a few cards I created yesterday. For some reason I love creating templates. Kinda strange but I really do like it. The velvet ric rac and blossom trim are by Maya Road. I LOVE all their velvet ribbons they are just fabulous to work with.
