Thanks for visiting!
I found this and thought I would share it with you. I think it would be great fun for both kids and adults. I do believe Ansley and I just might have to Grinch a few people in our neighborhood. Below is how it all works.
You’ve Just Been Grinched!
You’ve been selected as the recipient of this ornament. The Grinch made it just for you! And you don’t want to disappoint the Grinch!
The following are his demands… If you want to see any presents under your Christmas tree!
1. Hang up one copy of his festive face where all can see so you don’t get Grinched again!
2. Make or buy two ornaments.
3. Send them to two unsuspecting friends-you must include pictures of the Grinch and a copy of this letter so the next Grinchee can send off his/her ornament! Make photocopies if necessary.
4. Bring your package to your friend’s house. Ring the bell and take off! The Grinch would be extremely disappointed if you were to get caught.
5. Don’t break the chain if you want a Merry Christmas.
And my friend Patti sent me this link. She Elfed a group of us Fiskateers… we appear in this order… Me, Jane Hasty, Patti Church and Stephenie Hamen. I think it is so funny. They are all at a crop right now and I really do not like being geographically challenged. Because I am here and they are there! Have fun. I’m sure there will be lots of laughs. I miss you three a lot.
We are putting up the tree this evening. I have been cleaning the front room all day. This years tree will look totally different from last years. It is so easy and I love it! First time ever I have placed colored lights on my tree. Ansley is thrilled. I will show photos once we get it just right. Have a wonderful evening.

Recognize this little guy? I got to play with him all afternoon. Talk about fun AND I get to go back next week to play again. This is Noah, Caroline’s adorable little boy. I love how he is sitting on his feet. You can’t tell but he is dancing to the Backyardigans. He would wiggle as the songs played… too cute I tell ya!

Then…. I never ever thought I would say this but I tried these dried salty prunes (on the left) and LOVE them. I totally understand why Caroline says when she thinks of these her mouth waters… it is the strangest thing you really do get this mouth watering, sweet/salty taste in your mouth when the thought enters your mind. Now the dried anchovies on the right… we may just have to have a cultural difference on this one. I just can’t go there quite yet.
Caroline took me to the warehouse too! Oh to be surrounded by Maya Road goodness is such a wonderful thing. I also found out about a few more things they have in the works and all I can say is WOW… she and Deb are full of great ideas. I cannot wait for CHA to get here so everyone can see all the goodness for themselves.

I thought I would try 8.5 x 11 just for a little change…. I think I’m a 12 x 12 scrapper. That format was so hard. I don’t know how you that scrap in 8.5 x 11 do it. It was a fun challenge for me but one that I will only be doing off and on. LOL… I can’t take the stress. I find it easier to do the landscape (horizontal) version instead of the portrait (vertical) version. You all should try a different format sometimes and see what you think.
I love this photo I took of a sunflower and think the aqua color looks so nice with the yellow. Also, I am really into deco scissors right now. I love to cut the ends of my layouts or photos or both. The pair I used here are the Fiskars Cloud and Pinking scissors. The chipboard letters are by Maya Road.

Hope you are having a great weekend. I’m off to eat lunch with the in-laws. It will be nice to see them.

I have been a fan of Martha Stewart for over 20 years and I never thought I would get to talk to Martha much less to Martha Live on her show. What a fun experience and one I will never forget. Karen and Emily two of Martha’s producers were really nice and talk about making sure I was prepared! They did a great job with me but I discovered the anticipation of it all scares me to death. I am a just jump in the fire and figure it out kinda person rather than prepare and practice, practice, practice. The first time I had to practice with Karen (which just so happened to be the day before I talked to Martha) I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. You know… when people say their knees are/were knocking they are not kidding… believe them as my knees were knocking! I got so scared and was almost ill. I couldn’t even think of one thing to say. But, Tuesday morning when Martha’s staff called to do a line check on our phone I was as calm as I could be… hyper but no nerves and my knees were not knocking in the slightest. I could not wait to talk to Martha.
Here is a little clip of me getting to talk to Martha and if you are wondering… yes, I really am that hyper when talking about scrapbooking. I think I’m going to start doing webisode tutorials on my blog. That was really fun.

Oh and I received my Michael’s gift card today!!! Can you believe they overnighted it to me? I’m sure I don’t need I tell you I have already been to Michael’s. I purchased a few items and have quite a bit left on my gift card. I was just so overwhelmed with all her great products. I couldn’t decide what I really wanted. So, I purchased some glitter (of course), the binder hole edge punch, these gorgeous satin photo corners (Ivory, Brown and Black) and some orange scalloped note cards. I’m going to really think about what I want to create and then go back for round 2.

I just had to show you what I created using Maya Road products of course! I thought a bracelet made from some Maya Road sheer flowers, stamps, twills and a big bottlecap would be so fun to wear while at CHA. So I hurried to get this ready and dried before tomorrow and just had to share it with you. I think this is a great way to show off their products while checking out all the other vendors. What do you think?

I think it came out pretty cute. If you want to create a bracelet here are the supplies needed…
