Thanks for visiting!

Here is an ornament I created using lots of Maya Road product. First I painted a page from a Maya Road Sheer Snowflake Coaster Album using Spotlight Paint by Making Memories. Once dry, I completely covered the snowflake in Krystallos Shard Vintage Glass by Art Glitter. I LOVE any and everything by Art Glitter. Next, I covered a page from a Maya Road Chipboard Bird Coaster Album using BasicGrey patterned papers. Then I created a wing from a Maya Road Scroll Chipboard that has been painted and covered with Crackle Accents by Ranger. I painted two Maya Road Royalty Chipboard Crowns using a Metallic Gold Paint Dabber by Ranger. Then placed some Maya Road Velvet Blossom Trim in Rich Red in between the two crowns and attached the crown to the top of the birds head. I applied Gold Stickles by Ranger to the top of the front crown. To finish my bird I accented it using ribbons, lace and tags created from scraps. Once everything was dry I attached the bird to the snowflake (use a strong liquid glue or hot glue gun) and strung blue tulle through the top of the snowflake and tied it into a knot.

I think I am going to use rub ons to place the year on the star tag and then either a name or other holiday word on the other tag… just can’t seem to make up my mind quite yet.

Easter Cards

March28

Here are a few cards I created yesterday. For some reason I love creating templates. Kinda strange but I really do like it. The velvet ric rac and blossom trim are by Maya Road. I LOVE all their velvet ribbons they are just fabulous to work with.

Images removed for publication. These cards will be in the Spring 2008 issue of Paper Creations.

Maya Road Mini Album Sneak Peeks

January21

Here are two of my mini albums that will be on display in the Maya Road booth. I can’t wait to see all the projects in person. One sure thing… I will be snapping photos like a crazy lady. I know everything is going to be awesome. “dwa” stands for Dallas World Aquarium. Alan and I took my mom, sister and her kids to see it over Spring Break. If you are ever in the Dallas area it is a wonderful place to visit.

I’m just about finished with my heart binder and box and will post some photos sometime tomorrow. Then I will work on a layout and make-n-take for Cocoa Daisy. If you like monthly kits, you really need to check out this kit club. Tricia does a wonderful job at putting together the monthly kits and always has awesome guest designers. I’m always so excited to see my kit come each month!
