Thanks for visiting!

Most of you most likely didn’t even know I was out of town… sorry I didn’t post on my blog. I went down to help my Mom and Dad for a few weeks. Dad had 6 bypass surgery 3 weeks ago and I’m happy to say he is doing great! Here is a photo of I took of him just a little over a week and a half after his surgery. Yep… that would be dad way over in the red shirt sitting on his new boat. He had Mom and I cleaning and taking photos of the inside of their old boat to use in an ad to sell it. While we were down under he boogied his little self right on over to check out his boat. Lets just say he got a nice shot out from Mom.

Here is a quick recap of my visit.

I got to go with Madelyn on her first day of preschool. There was no looking back for this girl. She was so ready and excited to go to school and was hoping she would have homework like her big brother and sister do. I’m sure this will change.

Madelyn's First Day of School

My nephew Brittain turned 14… he is the sweetest boy ever. He always looks out for me and gives the best hugs.

Brittain's at 14 years old

Amanda had her braces taken off, got her drivers license and started her first job. Talk about one happy girl.

Isabella is still the best baby I have ever been around. I do not know how my sister managed to get this one. This baby never cries and smiles all the time. Believe me, I am nearly 9 years older than my sister and she was NOT like this as a baby. I remember all too well.

Isabella Kate

Last night at 10:00 p.m. Isabella Kate turned over all by herself. She was so close when I was down but I missed it.

I made some projects for Creative Cafe that will be for the Art Bar. Sorry, I can’t share these but just wait until you see what everyone has created. Lots of wonderful projects.

I also created a Date book using Maya Road’s “Journey Album Kit“. I will share this with you sometime this week.

Got my Cocoa Daisy October kit and talk about fun. Tara Whitney will be the guest designer. You will certainly want to check this out.

I’ve been TAGGED!

April27

by Susan J her blog is called Onion Skin and talk about inspiring… If you do not know of Susan you really need to go and check her out. She does great work.

Here are the rules…. Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their seven things, as well as these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog!

My 7 random facts or habits are….

1. I always have to let my drinks (Hot or Cold) sit a bit before I can drink them… not sure why I just do.

2. I only wear white shirts. It makes my daughters and my sister crazy!!! I mean so crazy. It is just easier and works for me. I can’t stand the stress of making sure everything matches. Give me paper and I’m fine, clothes UGH!

3. I will dance all over my scraproom or the house but don’t even think I will do it in public.

4. I make a weird face when I put on my blush… my sister says I look like a duck. Gotta love little sisters.

5. I played the piano and clarinet in high school

6. I love to wash clothes.

7. My Dad is Santa Claus.

Sande Krieger cause I love her digi work and am always so inspired by her layouts. Kelli Crowe because I feel she has more energy than the law allows and it shows in her designs. Melodee Langworthy because she can do some incredible tag books. I am always so amazed when I see her work. Ashley Calder because her layouts are so out of the box. I just love everything she creates. Teresa McFayden her vintage style rocks like no other. Danelle Johnson because I’m always wanting to know what is coming next. She is full of fabulous ideas. Tara Whitney because her photography rocks!
