Wendy Vecchi!!!
Lets see a little over a year ago I saw her work online in the 2Peas gallery, snagged her up and got her on the design team for Maya Road and what was she doing at CHA-S? Debuting her own stamp line through Stampers Anonymous called Studio 490!!!

I am so over the moon excited for her I can hardly stand it. Wendy’s stamps are large cling mounted stamps (I think there are 24 all together) and she has a really cool clear album to store them in when not in use. Oh and not only was she debuting her own stamp line, she was also doing demos for Ranger using Perfect Pearls which now I have got to start using cause they are so cool. I just needed a little jump start to get me going. Seriously they are COOL! I think I am going to have to beg her to let me come and visit for a creative weekend. I’m sure Rick can handle two crazy creative gals for one weekend.
Oh and I love how the catalog shows finished projects using Wendy’s Studio 490 stamp sets. So I had to share…. check these out. For those of us who are beginner stampers this is a wonderful jump start for ideas.

Yep my friend… I am so happy for you. Congrats. You so deserve all the wonderful things coming your way.

I love the day before leaving for CHA…. all the stress of checking lists, washing clothes, packing, checking lists again trying to make sure you don’t forget anything etc… just love it! Actually I feed off of it, kinda strange but I do. I hope I get to meet some of my new online friends and look forward to seeing those that I have chatted with for several years. It is so nice getting to see everyone twice a year.
I will be helping with make-n-takes so please come by Maya Road’s booth #1987. We will be using products from our Chipboard Crown Album, Heart Coaster Album, ATC’s, Blossoms, Postcard Stamp, Crushed Velvet Ribbons and Scallop Ric Rac. Our make-n-takes have been sponsored by some very nice companies… Luxe, Ranger, Art Glitter and Beacon.
Here is the design team canvas I created for the designers wall that will be in Maya Road’s booth. I cannot wait to see what all the designers created. It is so fun seeing all the different styles using many of the same products.
On my canvas I used some of Maya Road’s new Jewel Ribbon Flowers, Scrolls, Buttons and Stamps from a previous release. The quote reads: Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up. Pablo Picasso

Look at all the wonderful new twills Maya Road will be debuting at CHA. They are part of the Journey East Collection and come in red, blue, pink, brown and lilac. They also have clear stamps that match the patterns. Talk about WONDERFUL… Maya Road now has clear stamps! You are going to want every single one of them… believe me!

Here is a little project I created last night using some of their clear stamps and twills. This was so fun to create. The big heart is a page from their heart binder and the 2 smaller hearts are from their heart mini album. The chipboard motif is also by Maya Road. I LOVE the new chipboard that is coming out.
Images removed for publication. This project will be in the Feb/Mar 2008 issue of Paper Trends.
I hope you enjoy these sneak peeks. Off to finish up my heart binder and box. I will be taking this with me to CHA. I just could not get it finished in time to mail it today.
Have a wonderful day.
