Thanks for visiting!

first man did we have some bad storms last night here in Frisco. We were without electricity for 7 hours. A portion of our fence was knocked down and our neighbors trampoline (they live 3 houses down) ended up in our backyard. Alan and I are amazed that it didn’t knock down that portion of our fence. All it did was break a few slats. Some areas of Dallas will be without electricity for a week.

I have been playing with some alcohol inks by Ranger and must say Ranger + Maya Road = pure delight! Look at how pretty these Sheer Blossoms look inked and accented with glass glitter. I will be using these for a project I’m working on for CHA-S.

I will be hosting a RAK for Maya Road. So get ready for a challenge to win some great products. I will have a photo of the RAK soon.Wishing you all a great day.

Happy Valentine’s Day

February14

I hope you are all having a wonderful day with your loved ones. Alan gave me the cutest charm for my Juicy Couture charm bracelet. He started it for me at Christmas and I just love it… big, clunky and full of bling. Those of you that know me, know this is totally me!

All week I have been receiving Valentine’s Day cards from a swap I’m in at ScrapGal. It has been so fun checking the mail each day finding cards instead of bills. Here are just a few I have received to date. If you have not discovered ScrapGal you really should go over and check them out. Everyone is super nice and Carly has and gives the best service!

Ho Ho Ho I love my Santa

December1

My Dad... Santa Claus

I know you are probably getting tired of seeing my Dad in his Santa suit but I just love this photo. He looks so jolly! I took it when visiting my parents a few days before Thanksgiving. I think my Dad is the best Santa ever!

I wasn’t able to create any new projects yesterday. I am the lucky one that has been picked to get the terrible head cold going around in the family. I will have Ansley draw the winner of my RAK tonight and announce the winner in the morning. I will also upload a photo of what you will be receiving in the mail. I hope you all have a wonderful day. I’m heading back to bed.

Oh and one last thing… If you want to see some ADORABLE tree ornaments you have got to go to Notes from the Journey all the design team members created tree ornaments using Maya Road products. They are really cute and so easy to duplicate.

Yep, Santa is real as I have lived with him all my life. You see… Santa is my Dad! Saturday, was “Wake Up Santa” at the Mall. I wish I could have been there in person but I just could not make my travel plans work. So Mom made sure to take plenty of photos for me. I just love the smiles on the kids faces as well as my Dad’s. So for those of you that leave comments on my Blog until Dec. 1st, I will put your name in Santa’s hat and send the winner a wonderful RAK.
