I got to go and spend some time with Caroline and Noah yesterday and man was Caroline full of inspiration. I saw lots of new CHA-W releases and all I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW or as Noah would say, “WOOOOWWWW”you all are going to be so wanting lots of Maya Road products! I feel like the luckiest person in the world getting to work with Caroline and Deb. While there sorting DT product Caroline was showing me all the cute projects she has been creating. That girl has been churning out some projects! Well her clear ornaments were the cutest and I had to come right home and make some for myself. The hardest part about this project is deciding which photo to use. They are so easy, so fun and would be adorable handed out at an ornament exchange, as a little housewarming gift or attached to a present for family and friends. BUT be careful… these are very fragile! I know first hand because I already broke one… dang it!

Supplies Needed:
Clear Ornaments
Transparency (I had to use the kind for Ink Jet printers)
Maya Road Rubons
Ribbon
Faux Snow
Tools Needed:
Coluzzle (circle)
Instructions:
- Print wallet sized photos in greyscale onto transparency (rough side)
- Cut out photo using your Coluzzle or other form of circle cutter to appropriate size for your ornament
- Roll up transparency and place inside of ornament (you might need to flatten it out just a bit, I used the eraser on top of a pencil)
- Add Faux Snow to inside of ornament
- Using Rubons place a word or date along the front of the ornament
- Tie a bow to the hanger
Enjoy. You have an adorable personalized holiday ornament.

Alan and I have been working very hard preparing lots of holiday tutorials to add to my blog. We will be adding three sometime tonight. All you need to do is add your own holiday papers, ribbons, embellishments and of course GLITTER. Once purchased you will be able to download each tutorial, which will include a complete list of the supplies and tools needed as well as step by step instructions and color photos of the project you will be creating. Below are photos of the three tutorials I will be listing. I plan on adding several more later in the week and hopefully into the last week of December. One really cute one I am working on is a Count Down to Christmas Garland. I’m trying hard to get it completed before Dec. 1st. It will be one that will be fun to create with your children.

I am so loving the sheer alphabet letters (Upper and lowercase Atlanta) by Maya Road. I like to paint mine and then cover them in stickles (icicle) by Ranger. I can never get enough glitter and bling! So here is a sneak peek of an ornament I created for my Secret Santa. You can see how I altered the sheers. If you would like to purchase some sheer alphabets online I love to order from Scrapgal.com the service there is unbelievable. I am always amazed as to how quickly I receive my items. Carly is just the best!

I discovered I am be addicted to silver pipe cleaners. Seriously, I found that I only had a few left and had to run to JoAnns to get more. I have to be on my 4th pack by now. I can NOT stop using them on all of my holiday decorations. I just love the vintage feel they give. I will post the entire ornament once it has been posted on the MR blog Notes from the Journey. What great gifts have you created this holiday season? I would love to see some of your creations.
