Using fabric in place of patterned paper is always a fun change and it adds lots of interesting texture. Hitting the remnant section in fabric stores is one of my favorite things to do. Digging in the bins is like digging for hidden treasures… you just never know what wonderful patterns you are going to find.

I’m so excited that my first book deadline is fast approaching and I am actually right on target. Which just so happens to be the main reason I have been a bit of a bad blogger as of late. But this is the deadline were they use items for the cover of my book and I want every rhinestone, button, rubon, ribbon and piece of glitter in the perfect spot.

Oh one other thing… I have been thinking about doing more step by step tutorials on my blog. If any of you have a certain technique how to question please leave me a comment or email me and I will post a step by step tutorial for you.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

I really like the texture and the vintage feel that the fabric adds. I love how you used the fabric to make the tags!

I saw this in my magazine and knew immediately it was yours!!! Love, love the fabric, trims and everything about it….Just a beautiful layout.
I would love tutorials…I have looked back for the create paper flower that you make and dip in glitter but I can’t find it….would love a tutorial about making one of those. I purchased some paper and am about to experiment, but any will be great…..

Lisa, this is an absolutely amazing page. You are so talented, I love your blog, thanks for sharing so much of your fabulous work with us mere mortals! I know I”m not a big commenter, always too busy reading blog posts, but I check your stuff often and am always inspired!

PS - I got your quick e-mail the other day and somehow purged it accidentally (along with a bunch of other stuff I didn’t mean to delete) so I couldn’t say “THANKS” that way — so thanks!
