As you can see there are many of my favorite Maya Road products included. And speaking of Maya Road. You need to check out their new website. They have a new section called Creative Corner that is filled with lots of great ideas using their products. If you want to purchase products seen in some of the projects featured now you can. The item you purchase are bought and shipped from a store that carries Maya Road. So, leave me a post telling me what you think about the site and I will randomly pick a winner for a Maya Road RAK.
Enjoy!

Taking a solo flight.
I have been watching momma and daddy bird care for their two babies over the past month. Let me just say… birdie parents are BUSY… I had no idea how much work it was to care for baby birds. This bird house (which by the way was made by my dad and is my favorite) is hung just outside my kitchen window so all day long I get to sneak some peeks of them in action. I’m sad knowing the babies are gone but something tells me I will be busy enough these next several months that bird watching will be slim to none.
I have decided to go ahead and teach the free “Our Home” layout class and have set up a private Ning forum. If you want to participate please either email me or post a comment here and I will send you an invite. I am trying to work out the kinks before NSD so please all I ask is that you be patient and understanding. I am a techniques girl not a techy girl. I think it will be a fun couple of hours so come join me. I just might even have a few surprises up my sleeve too.

Since I have had an overwhelming response I will need to close my online class registration Saturday May 3rd at 1:00 p.m. CST. Thank you for your understanding.
I have been trying to think of something I can do on NSD that is fun and free for all of you that visit my blog. I am wondering if you would be interested in a free online class? If you are, email me or post a comment to this thread. If I get enough people I can set up a private Ning forum for the online class and rework my “Our Home” layout so you can download the free templates, instructions and type of supplies and tools needed to create the layout shown below.

So let me know what you think…

At 9:44 a.m. I see Betterway Books on my caller ID, slight panic as I wasn’t expecting a phone call this morning more like an email this afternoon. I answer thinking some changes need to be made to my book proposal. Nope no changes needed as I hear the following…
“Hello Lisa, this is Christine. I want to congratulate you on being the newest author for Memory Makers Books.”
I’m so happy.

At the moment, I seem to have all of the above so I created this little box mainly to keep my hands busy and to place the above mentioned in to let them fall as they may. I have a wish/dream that is so close to coming true it causes me great worry but in the end if all goes well it will be incredible to have reached a goal I have had for the past few years. If it doesn’t happen well I am not giving up and will go to plan B.

Here is a little tutorial on recreating this little box in case you have a few worries, dreams or wishes you need to store away for awhile.
