Happy Birthday Ansley!
Here is the second class I will be teaching at Lasting Memories April 4th-5th. This unique 4″ binder features “Stories Told by Me.” It includes tiny moments in my childhood that I wanted to share with my daughters. You can alter the theme of your album to showcase moments about your childhood, family, holiday highlights or other special moments shared with loved ones; it is all up to you. I designed this class with many themes in mind.
I will also be teaching two layout classes as well as one other project class. Right now I am waiting on the papers to arrive. I’m so pleased that I have been able to get so many new paper lines. I will post these samples once the product arrives. So give me a few days.
My friend Stephenie Hamen, one of the lead Fiskateers just started a really neat blog. It is called “Crop Girl Proudly Presents” she talks about crops and crop culture. If you get a chance stop by, say hi and check it out. I’m sure Stephenie will always have something interesting to say.
I will be teaching 5 classes at Lasting Memories April 4th - 6th and thought I would share a little sneak peek of my “Time Flies” class. If you are in the area check out the fun retreat Barb and Julie have planned. I hope to see you there.
I will post my second class shortly. I’m just about finished. Oh what a fun weekend this is gonna be.
Okay as promised here are some more photos of the booth at CHA. I tell ya these were all taken the last day of the show because during the show you could not even think about taking photos. That booth was crazy.
The Tree Album was done by Aubrey and the little houses were created by Wendy.
These are the cutest houses. The windows, shutters and doors are all stored separately inside the house along with an album. Super fun project. The 3D effect that the windows, shutters and doors give to the houses is so nice. These projects were created by Wendy, Jessica (sure wish someone would get a blog Jess) and Caroline.
Super cute new stamps All the stamps along the top are new. The images are so crisp. I love working with them. The projects shown are created by Wendy.
Man do I LOVE all these flowers. They make my heart skip a few beats each time I see them. They are all handmade and so lovely. The rhinestones are so sparkly and the pearls are all dyed and will not flake off and all the rhinestones and pearls are sewn on to the flowers. Gosh, these are just the best. If you love flowers you really have to get these. The projects shown were created by Wendy and Katie.
These are the new Trinkets Beads and Charms. They have Birds of a Feather, Hearts and Butterflies and Tutti Fruity. They are the clearest beads with the perfect amount of color and detail. Seriously top notch in quality but that is pretty much a given when you purchase any Maya Road products. The projects shown are created by Wendy.
Okay more tomorrow. I have got to do a few things for Cocoa Daisy using their March kit. I will post tomorrow or Saturday. Man can someone tell me where this week went?
Here are some photos from the show. I must admit every time I look at these I laugh as they make me think about Robyn Weatherspoon. I got to meet her when she came by the booth. I gave her a tour of all the new products and she had me laughing so hard. Robyn is so funny.
This is the designer wall. These are the ladies that created all the eye candy.
This photo and the photo below shows lots of sheer projects created by Katie, Debbie, Sandy, Aubrey, Andrea, Shelley and Caroline.
The Sheer Scroll Frame Album was created by Debbie. It is adorable from cover to cover.
Shelley and Aubrey created the two projects on the top shelf and Jessica created the adorable little people frame. She took apart and altered one of the new Accordion Boy/Girl albums.
Here are are the new Butterfly, Artistic Scroll Frame, Classic Scroll Frame and 2-Ring Heart Chipboard Books created by Katie and Andrea. The House Binder is by Sandy.
I will post more photos tomorrow. It has been a long day of emailing, submitting, cleaning, washing and blogging.
