Nothing like a Maya Road day…

Recognize this little guy? I got to play with him all afternoon. Talk about fun AND I get to go back next week to play again. This is Noah, Caroline’s adorable little boy. I love how he is sitting on his feet. You can’t tell but he is dancing to the Backyardigans. He would wiggle as the songs played… too cute I tell ya!

Noah Dancing

Then…. I never ever thought I would say this but I tried these dried salty prunes (on the left) and LOVE them. I totally understand why Caroline says when she thinks of these her mouth waters… it is the strangest thing you really do get this mouth watering, sweet/salty taste in your mouth when the thought enters your mind. Now the dried anchovies on the right… we may just have to have a cultural difference on this one. I just can’t go there quite yet.

Caroline took me to the warehouse too! Oh to be surrounded by Maya Road goodness is such a wonderful thing. I also found out about a few more things they have in the works and all I can say is WOW… she and Deb are full of great ideas. I cannot wait for CHA to get here so everyone can see all the goodness for themselves.

Rain, rain and more rain as well as something new!

I tell you I think we are going to wash away here in Texas. I cannot get over the amount of rain we are getting this summer. Yesterday we were lucky and didn’t get a drop so lots of fireworks were going off here in Frisco.

I want to share a new venture my friend Wendy Rago has started…. it’s a kit club called Bad Girls Kits. Her first kit “Vintage Summer” is already sold out! Still available is a really cute project kit called Beach Beauty and two add on kits called Sunset Love and Angel Baby. Also, if you are interested in trying out for her design team you have from now until July 31st to send in your application. Please help me wish Wendy all the best. Join the Bad Girls message board and say Hi… being a little bit bad is always fun.

I am still working on CHA projects and cannot wait to show you every single one. I cannot stop thinking of things to create with all of Maya Road’s new releases… there are 90! Oh it is so fun begin a Maya Roadie! If you are going to CHA please stop by and say hi. I would love to be able to put a face with all those that e-mail me. I can help you with a make-n-take and give you a tour of the booth too!

How about a little Maya Road Sneak Peek…

YEAH, finally Caroline gave me the okay to give a little sneak peek of an album I just completed. Not everything is being shown as this little album is filled with new products to debut at CHA… which I can’t believe is in a few weeks. You all are going to be blown away when you see all the new products in the booth… just amazing. Let me know what you think.

Who needs paper…

when you have your legs, face and feet? Why is it always funny when it isn’t YOUR kid? I just love these photos of my niece, Madelyn. It is so nice to see her finding her creative side. Although, my sister and BIL don’t seem to think so. Hey, I told them it could have been worse… she could have used a Sharpie!

And look at these sweet photos… Madelyn so loves her little sister.
