all the wonderful new products Maya Road will be launching at CHA-S. Oh my stars as my friend Heather would say! It is killing me not being able to share any of my projects with you just yet. I really do feel there is going to be a mad dash to Maya Roads booth… so many wonderful new products. There are these adorable new @#$% and these incredible new %^&* and oh I love these new @#$%^& I could just go on and on! But I think I will stop right now.

Another really fun thing…. I was asked to be part of an online chat at 2 Scrappy Chix Designs. I think this will be lots of fun. So if you can, please join me… I plan on giving away a Maya Road RAK as well as having a little tutorial/project to create. I hope to chat with you on Aug. 10th at 8:00 p.m. (central).

Oh another thing… gosh I have so many things going on right now. I have yet to find in this household those “lazy days of summer.” I am starting to sell some of my templates. With each printable template you get a complete list of supplies and step-by-step instructions on how to complete the project. I will have photos of each project in my gallery. I am almost finished with this project… just need to journal but will do this later. I feel like the little engine that could…. I think I can, I think I can or Dori… just keep swimming, just keep swimming! I have so many projects to get done but am slowly marking them off my list. I cannot wait to get to show you the new Maya Road album I am working on. It is CUTE CUTE CUTE. You are all going to be begging your local scrapbook stores to please stock their shelves with these new items. Caroline and Deb really out did themselves this time. They just keep getting better and better and before long I’m going to have to rent a warehouse to use as my scraproom… I want everything they create. Anyway, here are a few more photos of my suitcase project. I am really having fun creating a project that documents some of the jewelry that was given to me by my grandmothers.

Oh I love the Fresh line… the colors are so bright and cheery. Here is a layout I did of Ansley. I just love her freckles and pink cheeks in this photo. Nothing like having some summer fun.

I just finished one of my Maya Road projects for CHA using the suitcase and binder (older product). I still need to journal but will do this later. I want to get started on some of their new albums. I will post the suitcase once I take some photos.

I have been busy creating some Maya Road projects for CHA and thought I would share a few that are still in the works. These projects are using some of their older items… you didn’t really think I was going to show you some new stuff this early did you? Oh just you wait until you see what they have created! Below is a suitcase and binder I am working on. I still need to add the photos and journal in the binder. I plan on putting some heirloom jewelry in the binder and tell who gave it to me and when. Then on the suitcase I need to paint the inside and add a mirror. I want it to look kinda like an old jewelry box.

Another one of my Maya Road CHA projects is using the coffee break tin and album BUT… I’m using products from the Cocoa Daisy July kit so you will only get to see a little sneak peek of this. I just love all the bright colors in this kit and think you will too.
