Thanks for visiting!

I just had to show you what I created using Maya Road products of course! I thought a bracelet made from some Maya Road sheer flowers, stamps, twills and a big bottlecap would be so fun to wear while at CHA. So I hurried to get this ready and dried before tomorrow and just had to share it with you. I think this is a great way to show off their products while checking out all the other vendors. What do you think?

Bracelet

I think it came out pretty cute. If you want to create a bracelet here are the supplies needed…

  • Charm bracelet
  • 1 MR Bottlecap
  • 5 MR Sheer Flowers
  • MR Stamps (stamp onto Sheer Flowers)
  • MR Twill (Journey East Brown)
  • Ledger paper
  • Silver Pipe Cleaner (to use for Monogram)
  • Prima Flower
  • Rhinestone (flower center)
  • Making Memories Glitter (to cover front and back of Sheer Flowers)
  • 10 Buttons (front and back of Sheer Flowers)
  • Floss
  • Whale of a Punch (circle) (Punch 2 circles and adhere one to the bottlecap then using deco scissors trim the second circle then bend edges upward and attach to top of first circle)
  • 5 White Brads
  • 10 jump rings (2 for each Sheer Flower)
  • Crop-a-dile (used to punch a hole into the bottlecap and sheer flowers as well as set brads)
  • Staz On (Timber Brown)

Okay I really am off to finish my packing and then to bed.

Cocoa Daisy Sneak Peeks

I thought I would share a few sneak peeks from the Feb. kit at Cocoa Daisy. This was a really fun kit to play with as it really brought out the funky in my layouts. I cannot wait to finally meet Tricia in person on Saturday. We will be walking the floors at CHA looking at all the new products coming out. It will be fun watching her put together her upcoming kits. I also hope I get to meet some of the other design team members. There are lots of talented ladies on this team. Okay here are my sneak peeks. I hope you like them and I hope they pique your interest enough to come back to see the full image after the first of February and then run right on over to Cocoa Daisy to snatch up a kit.

Off to complete some jars for Maya Road so tomorrow I can do wash and start packing for CHA. I cannot believe it is already time to go. This month sure did fly by. Oh and I will get to celebrate my birthday in CA. Last year, I celebrated in Las Vegas. Having your birthday fall during CHA is just the BEST!!!

What a surprise…

Yesterday I received a nice little surprise. Several months ago, I had three cards picked up by Paper Creations for their Spring 2007 issue. Well, I had no idea one of my cards made the cover. This is my first cover so imagine my excitement when I received the magazine in the mail and seeing one of my cards on the front. My card is the one with the flowers. I just have to post some photos. PLEASE don’t think I’m a dork… I’m just pretty excited.

PC Cover

Here are the cards inside the magazine. It even has the patterns to make my paper dolls.

Today I am working on a layout for Cocoa Daisy. Just a bit more and I will be finished. I received the March kit and it is wonderful. The colors Tricia put together are fabulous. You all will love this kit.

Enjoy your day.

Maya Road Heart Binder

Well here is my finished binder. This little gem took awhile but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I just love these Maya Road binders. They are certainly going to be a must have for me. They are awesome.

Just a few small things to finish up and I will be ready for CHA. I cannot wait to get there. I know I will see some incredible new stuff and meet lots of people I have chatted with via the net for so long. I am going to try to figure out some neat way to create a mini album to document this trip. Well off to do some more creating. I will post again tomorrow. Hope you have a wonderful day.
